Supporting artisans

It has been my pleasure to work alongside women artisan groups here in Uganda to design some textiles and handcrafted baskets to bring back to Canada. By supporting these woman, they will be given a hand up in supporting their families, providing education for the children and breaking the cycle of poverty they've been stuck in. I spent the day with this group in their rural village sharing stories, looking at their crafts and showing pictures of my family and friends on my phone.
