Childrens VBS

I love love love days spent investing into the lives of children. They are eager, they are full of energy and joy and they love to see this "white girl" sing and dance!

We have been visiting our local youth church partners and came prepared to run small VBS days to love on the community kids. I packed balloons, rocket candies, dollar store stickers and small Gideon Bibles...then we show up,

Showing up is key. Just by showing up the ministry is engaged and God takes care of the rest. The day unfolds and we see His hand at work. Bible stories are acted out, songs are sung and the children have the best day.

A few of my friends have been coming to help play guitar, to blow up balloons, to help give each child a treat and to just enjoy the new experience. I am blessed to be able to do this small part in sharing Jesus and His love.

My mom was able to come to one of our outreach days and she snuggled babies, gave out treats and just supported us as we served!
