Home for Christmas

We spent the last month of our stay in Uganda visiting our church partners and local friends saying our goodbyes. We packed our bags, finished selling off our possessions and left our apartment and neighbors. We stayed right in the heart of Kampala for our final days and enjoyed a trip to a local island, swimming, and pizza on the way to the airport.

Our flights went from Uganda to Ethiopia, to Ireland, to Toronto to Vancouver. 28hours and no problems. We were blessed to get 3 seats each to ourselves on the 17 hour leg to sleep and have lots of room to ourselves to make the journey more bearable.
