"The little" into life changing

Life is a true mix of sunny adventures full of beautiful people and dull afternoons with no power sitting in the dark dreaming of eating something other than beans and rice.

God continues to strengthen us through ministry here as we face many cultural and complacent challenges that can be discouraging. Our best times have been one on one with pastors and friends who just need a listening ear, a comfy chair, a cold glass of water and a prayer of support and encouragement. Seems our daily outreach has turned into counseling sessions, and all we can do is point people to Jesus.

We are so looking forward to Rick and Tammy Ellis coming for the month of June. They will be with us for a short time, and then travelling to S. Sudan to visit with many other pastors.

This morning I was encouraged by a song called Hands of God. Sometimes it's the small things we are called to do, not always the flashy big things. Maybe this song will also encourage you this week as you show compassion and care to those you may meet while traveling, or at work, school or in its simplest form while showing love to a family member. Trying to remember that in all we do, we serve a God much bigger and able to turn "the little" into life changing!
