Month 2 Update

We stayed in Kampala for 13 days and enjoyed everyday we spent with friends, children and minsitry leaders. We woke up each morning to children yelling and playing in the room next door, Muslims praying over loud speakers, roosters cocking and motorcycles and taxis honking. The weather is too hot! We sleep with no sheets or blankets, minimal clothing and Sarah also needs her eye mask and ear plugs. Haha.

We look forward to seeing familiar faces and hearing familiar accents when the missions team from Broadway Church arrives in the next few weeks!! We will most likely escort the team to Rwentutu Christian school and visit with them as they begin to make relationships! We have a few great friendships and ministry connections forming in Kasese, this next week we will be running a Spiritual Emphasis week at Liberty College, the local vocational college. We will be empowering the students and teaching about Jesus. We have much support through wise leaders and we are now forming an advisory council here in Youth Church Uganda to assist us in managing many churches and ministry teams.
